Centennial Parklands' Horse and Pony Rides, Varies Times, From $65, Age: 5+

The Centennial Parklands Equestrian Centre is home to four riding schools, incorporating 62 horses and ponies.

The riding schools offer a wide range of activities, including leisure Park Rides, School Holiday camps and lessons for riders of all abilities. Individual or group bookings are available.

For enquiries regarding booking a pony/horse ride or lesson, please contact the riding schools directly

The Equestrian Centre Managers Office, located inside the main gate of the Centre, is open Monday to Saturday from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm, and on Sunday and public holidays from 10.00 am to 3.00 pm. For more info please check out the official website here

Budapest Riding School

Budapest Riding School has a range of horses and ponies for riders of all ages and disciplines. The School offers riding for the very young to the adult, including horse riding lessons in Centennial Park, as well as birthday parties for children.

Eastside Riding Academy

Eastside Riding Academy offers you a safe and friendly environment, whether you're interested in an occasional ride through beautiful Centennial Park, or dedicated to learning the fine art of horsemanship.

The Academy has friendly, professional staff, safe horses for all levels of riders, and access to state of the art facilities within the Centennial Parklands Equestrian Centre. Eastside offers a wide range of fun services to cater for adults and children's riding, whether you want to brush up on your riding or climb into the saddle for the first time.

Eastside Riding School caters for ages approximately 5 years and up.

Papillon Riding Stables

Papillon Riding School reaches out to horse lovers who want more from a stable than just a riding lesson.

Papillon offers you the opportunity to build a relationship with their horses. Papillon believes in a holistic approach and focus on creating a harmonious unit between horse and rider through clear communication and understanding.

Papillon Riding School is one of the smaller riding stables at the Centre. Papillon believes this distinguishes them to their clients as offering a very unique and intimate service. Clients appreciate being provided superior personal attention across all our services.

Parking: In Centennial Park

  • always park in designated parking areas - front first along Grand Drive's parking bays

  • be aware of the timed parking zones at specific points, particularly around main entry gates

  • always be aware of pedestrians, cyclists, horses and dogs - and especially the presence of small children

  • never park - or even stop temporarily - in the cycle lane on the left side of Grand Drive

  • be aware that Banksia Way - adjacent to Centennial Parklands Dining - is now a shared zone with no general visitor parking available
