The 9pm family fireworks give spectators with young children the chance to enjoy a fantastic 8 minute display.
The legendary pyro-choreography will be seen as the display adds a sparkle and magic to the Sydney skyline, with rockets firing from 4 barges in the harbour and the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
The 9pm family fireworks will be synchronised to a soundtrack broadcast live on KIIS FM.

You can also live stream from the ABC TV Facebook page and YouTube channel. See the Welcome to Country ceremony at 8.38pm and fireworks at 9pm and midnight. All times are in AEDT. Parking: There will be multiple road closures, so please do not drive on this evening.
With so many parking restrictions and major roads closed, you can’t drive to vantage points or see the fireworks from your car. Leave your car at home.

- 11am Cahill Expressway Circular Quay overpass.
- 2pm roads north of Bridge Street in The Rocks and Circular Quay.
- 7pm major roads north of Liverpool Street.
- 8.30pm to 9.30pm and 11.30pm to 1.30am Anzac Bridge and Western Distributor citybound.
- 11pm all roads closed north of Goulburn Street.
- 11pm to 1.30am Sydney Harbour Bridge.
