Ku-Ring-Gai - Australia Day 2019, 10.30am - 2pm, Free, Age: All
Families will enjoy a range of entertainment and activities this Australia Day in Bicentennial Park.
Entertainment and activities will include a live stage show featuring the ABC kids show Bananas in Pyjamas, bush band Reel Matilda, an Aussie reptile show and a range of cultural dance performances.
For the children, there will be games, amusement rides, sheep shearing, sheep dog demonstrations and roaming performers.
After the event ends at 2pm, everyone is invited to cool off at the Ku-ring-gai Fitness and Aquatic Centre next to Bicentennial Park for an afternoon of entertainment and activities.
The council recommends catching the free shuttle bus from Gordon train station to the event as parking is limited.
Celebrate Australia Day with a packed out program (pdf. 910KB) of performances including ABC Kids show Banana's in Pyjamas, the Australian Reptile Show, Bush Band Reel Matilda, cultural performances, plus plenty of entertainment for the kids including an animal farm, inflatable rides and arts and craft.

Parking: Limited parking is available; residents are encouraged to take advantage of the free shuttle bus. Catch the FREE shuttle bus (pdf. 830KB) between Gordon station and Bicentennial Park.
Nearby Food: Food and drink stalls will be available.
Awesome Coffee: You may want to pick up coffee at your local cafe before this outing, however a group of shops on Kendall street is your closest to the venue Munch Deli Cafe, if you’re passing Macquaire Park check out The Shed Cafe on the way.
