The opening night of the Chinese New Year Festival will see fireworks light up the night sky and the Sydney Harbour Bridge bathed in an auspicious red glow.

Fireworks are launched at 8.15pm from barges in the harbour.

Enjoy a Frameshift perfomance presented by Art & About Sydney and the Guide Dogs NSW/ACT graduation ceremony.

While you are in Circular Quay, make your way to see the spectacular Lunar Lanterns which will also open Friday 16 February, illuminated against a backdrop of fireworks on Sydney Harbour.
