Heya.

Little Day Out is a curated list of fun things to do for kids in Sydney. We save you time by selecting just six weekend activities we think are the best of what's on

The Rocks - Children's Festival, 10.30am – 4pm, Free

The Children’s Festival is a unique celebration of cultural diversity. A spectacular entertainment program is performed by some 30 groups from culturally and linguistically diverse communities. Thousands of children and their families attend.

Under the motto “Play Together and Live in Harmony”, Children’s Festival is a day for everyone, especially children to get together in a multicultural environment where they enjoy fun together, do things together and share their new experience with each other.

Children will love the outdoor activities, workshops, arts and crafts and animal farm. Come and enjoy the fun and games – entry is free!

Don’t miss our highlight, the Children’s Parade, with community groups from all walks of life and cultures, starting at 1.30pm.

The prize presentation for the poster design contest with the theme Celebrating Australia Together will be held at main stage at 2.15pm.
